June Highlights: Real Projects, Real Results

June has been a productive month for the Farman Services team. We worked across Edmonton and surrounding areas on a range of commercial and residential projects. From fixing incomplete jobs to full yard transformations, our goal stayed the same each time: deliver high-quality work and leave every space better than we found it.

Canada Post – Lot Sweep and Tree Cutting

We were called in to clean a Canada Post property after another contractor left the site in poor condition. Our team completed a full lot sweep to remove debris and improve safety.

We also trimmed and removed overgrown trees that were affecting visibility and access on the property. The result was a much cleaner, safer, and more functional space for staff and visitors.

Weed Control at Multiple Properties

We provided targeted weed control at several residential and commercial locations. Using safe and effective treatments, we helped clients stay ahead of overgrowth and maintain a cleaner, more manageable landscape. Keeping weeds under control also reduces long-term maintenance and improves curb appeal.

Residential Yard Makeover – From Rock to Grass

One of our favorite residential projects this month was a full yard transformation. The homeowner wanted a fresh, usable space. We started by removing all existing landscape rock, then brought in topsoil, graded the yard for proper drainage, and installed fresh sod to match the existing lawn. The result was a clean, green yard ready to enjoy.

Ming Shine – Full Lot Upgrade and Landscaping

We completed a full exterior improvement project for Ming Shine this month. The parking lot was graded and finished using four inches of road crush, then compacted with an asphalt roller to ensure long-term durability.

We also prepped and sodded the front and side yards, giving the space a fresh, green look. To finish it off, we installed stepping stones to tie everything together and add a clean, professional touch.

Pollinator Garden Project – Supporting Local Ecosystems with Colliers

This month, we partnered with Colliers, a well-known property management company, to bring a unique and meaningful project to life. We helped transform an underused outdoor space into a pollinator-friendly garden designed to support bees, butterflies, and other beneficial insects.

The garden was built using native and drought-tolerant plants that thrive in Alberta’s climate. Each plant was selected to bloom at different times of the season to provide a consistent food source for pollinators.

Our team completed:

  • Soil preparation and grading
  • Planting a mix of pollinator-attracting perennials and wildflowers
  • Mulching to help retain moisture and reduce weed growth
  • A clean and low-maintenance layout that looks great and functions well

This project added beauty to the space while also supporting local biodiversity and long-term sustainability. It’s a great example of how commercial landscaping can be both functional and environmentally responsible.

We appreciate the opportunity to work with Colliers and look forward to taking on more projects that bring purpose and positive impact to our communities.

Looking Ahead

Whether it’s restoring a commercial lot or upgrading a front yard, our team approaches each job with care, skill, and a focus on quality. June was packed with great work, and we’re ready for more.
